Patrollers are users who are trusted to make good edits, and are allowed access to a few extra tools. Patrollers are no better than other users, but are well known around the wiki, and trusted. The Patroller rights are automatically part of the Administrators group, like the Rollback feature.
The Patroller icon. The check mark symbolizes that the wiki trusts their edits to be productive.
Patrollers are able to:
- Move files.
- Edit article comments.
- Mark their own edits, and those of other users, as "patrolled".
- Suppress redirects when moving a page or file.
- Be exempt from IP range blocks.
- Are not affected by limits of page moves, account creations or file moves.
The Patroller right can be requested by any trusted user at Dragonica Wiki:Requests for Permissions#Patroller. A full list of current Patrollers can be found at Special:Listusers/patroller.
Patrollers are permitted to use {{Userbox/Patroller}} on their userpage, to identify them as such. The template looks like:
